Microsoft und SOPERA haben in der Vergangenheit gemeinsam an der Interoperabilität zwischen Java-SOA und .NET-SOA gearbeitet. Das ist wichtig, da .NET und Java heute in vielen großen Unternehmen die vorherrschenden Plattformen sind und Interoperabilität zwischen beiden Welten das zentrale Kundenproblem darstellt .
