Enterprise Edition Option Packs
The Enterprise Edition Option Packs are available as optional upgrades to SOPERA ASF Enterprise Edition. The Option Packs are optimally integrated solutions which further enhance SOPERA ASF’s functionality to take in, for example, process management, application and data integration, management functionality and the integration of Java, Microsoft or SAP systems.
The SOPERA BPM package permits realization of sophisticated business process management scenarios. SOPERA BPM is based on the powerful Open Source solution, Intalio|BPM, and integrates it seamlessly into SOPERA ASF. The SOPERA BPM Designer permits modeling of BMPN processes by means of BPMN and offers simple deployment of those processes on the SOPERA BPM Server (BPEL). The SOPERA BPM Server also fits transparently into the infrastructure of the SOPERA ESB. The BPM Server can access already existing services and orchestrate them into complex business processes. The BPM Server thus becomes an integral element of the SOPERA ESB.
The SOPERA DI package (Application and Data Integration) is based on the Open Source solution Talend, and offers users access to the various adapters available for this solution. This enables integration of business applications, business intelligence systems or databases for example. SOPERA DI offers a graphic user interface for integrating applications and data into the SOPERA ESB. This also makes connecting SAP to SOPERA ESB simple and convenient. Integration is totally transparent with no need for installation or modification on the SAP side.
SOPERA HQ is based on the leading Open Source solution for system management and monitoring, SpringSource Hyperic HQ. SOPERA HQ installs within a few minutes, delivering the parameters for more than 70 different technologies across all the usual operating systems at a stroke. SOPERA HQ’s auto-discovery capabilities make implementing sophisticated system and service management much simpler. Parameters for key service indicators are administrated via a central control console and displayed clearly on dashboards. SOPERA HQ also provides integrated Service Activity Monitoring (SAM) thanks to SOPERA ESB’s special metrics.
The SOPERA .Net package allows .Net-based services to be integrated into the service bus and, consequently, seamless addition of system environments. Users benefit from an all-in-one solution: Data as well as functions from Java and .Net applications can be integrated and used transparently as fully-fledged services regardless of the underlying technology. SOPERA .Net is based on Net.framework and fully implemented as a .Net application (in C#). It includes Windows Communication Framework upon which it is based. .Net providers make transparent use of SOPERA ESB’s central infrastructure services and consequently permit uniform SOA governance across the platforms.
