What SOPERA Customers and Partners need to know
On November 10th, we announced the acquisition of Sopera by Talend, bringing together the leaders in open source application integration and data management to create a global leader in open source middleware solutions.
Talend is the recognized market leader in open source data management. Many large organizations around the globe use Talend's products and services to optimize the costs of data integration, data quality and Master Data Management (MDM).
With the acquisition, Sopera will now become the application integration division of Talend. The division will continue to be anchored by a strong development team in Bonn, Germany, preserving the knowledge of our employees, the relationships with our customers and the strong roots that the company has in Germany and Europe.
Some benefits of the acquisition for our customers and partners include:
- enhancment of our global support capacity and high quality of service for Sopera ASF.
- additional resources to accelerate plans for product enhancements, expansions and innovations with a continued commitment to the on-going development and support of current Sopera product roadmap .
- expansion into new markets including the United States, Asia and other parts of Europe will provide the benefit of localized support and service offerings as well as local sales contacts.
- greater investment in the combined product portfolios creating a unified global middleware platform that costs far less than proprietary technologies, delivers greater functionality and is easier to deploy and manage.
We will announce the details of the updated product roadmap, both for the new application integration division and Talend’s core data management products, within 30 days.
